New York: Boni & Liveright, 1918. With his typical wit and acumen, the great Irish playright defends artist from the charge of degeneracy. First published in London by New Age and in New York by Tucker (1908); this is a Very Good (Plus) copy of a later American printing. Light brown cloth binding, ruled and titled on the front cover is a reddidh-brown; titling on the spine in black. Clean text; 113 pages. There is no publication date, only the copyright from 1895; however, bibliographers agree to 1918. Light soiling, spine darkened, mild rub at the margins. . Later Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good (Plus)/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
