The Saturday Book was a unique phenomenon in modern publishing and lasted for 35 years being published annually.It has contained contributions from many of the outstanding writers of our time,and it's major achievement was the alliance of good writing with superb illustration,of works of art,social commentary and curiosities of the junk shop etc.This copy is number 21 and is in Fine Condition in a Very Good + Dust-Jacket that has just a couple of small closed ytears to top and bottom edge of the upper cover.The wrapper has remained lovely and bright and clean due to it being housed in it's original boxed slip-case which is graded Very Good.There are NO previous owner's names or inscriptions present.Not price clipped.The Dust-Jacket comes well protected in a removable cover sleeve with Original Box present.Uncommon 8vo 288pp First Edition . Fine. Hardcover. First Edition. 1961.
