Publishers' original bottle green cloth with gilt titles to spine and decoration in blind to boards. Spine lightly sunned and boards a little bruised to edge; lower board damp stained. A shaken copy with cracked inner hinges but contents clean and crisp, with no annotation or inscriptions. 7 cm closed tear to map at edge from hinge. A Good copy. Detailed impressions of Ireland and the Irish, intended to direct British investors to purchase land in Ireland, much of which was perhaps readily available towards the end of the great Irish Famine caused by the failure of the potato harvests. Scarce.
