This rare vintage advertisement is in very good collectible condition with soiling and a few small stains as shown, with small edged tears from where it was removed from the book. A 10 by 7-inch vintage engraved advertisement. See Photos; Four original half-page advertisements, with two engraved advertisements, one for P. H. Walker Manufacturer of Scales, 5 Market Square, Boston, The other is for A Fessenden Plumber and Water Closet & Filter Manufacturer of 554 Washington Street, Boston Mass. The other two ads are for A. Partridge & co, and The Perkins Institution and Massachusetts Asylum. This advertisement was rescued from a damaged copy of the book "Illustrated American Biography" Published By A. D. Jones of New York in 1853. A very Scarce Advertisement. Would look great matted and framed. A unique gift and a great piece of vintage genealogy.; Engraving.

Being a a collector, as well as a dealer, I understand the importance of condition, as well as rarity of an item, and the desire to own scarce and one of a kind items.
