Sobre este artículo
Long Beach, CA: Peace and Freedom Party, 1982. Handbill. 8.5x11 inch sheet mimeographed both sides; the front has a jack-o-lantern, the other side lists candidates for statewide office as well as for Long Beach area races. The mimeo fluid ran a bit on this side, resulting in a series of inky spots, though text is still legible. Candidates include Elizabeth Martinez for Governor, Milton Takei for Secretary of State, Florence McDonald (mother of Country Joe McDonald) for Controller, civil rights attorney Dan Siegel for Attorney General, Kevin Akin for Treasurer, and others. Concludes with a paragraph arguing that Democrats are as bad as Republicans on many issues; "By voting for Peace and Freedom candidates you are sending Reagan and the Democrats a message they cannot ignore: that the people want peace and social justice and that our needs must not be ignored.
