Sobre este artículo

London: Macmillan and Co. LTD, 1961 . First edition. Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good Indeed. 8" by 5.5". None. A very smart first edition of this entertaining novel by William Cooper, in the original, unclipped dust wrapper. First edition, in the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Written by English novelist William Cooper, who wrote a number of 'Scenes from...' novels, including 'Scenes from Life', 'Scenes from Later Life' and 'Scenes from Death and Life'. An entertaining novel following the married life of Joe Lunn and Elspeth. A humorous, truthful, and touching novel by Cooper. Sequel to 'Scenes from Provincial Life'. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with light bumping to the extremities and the occasional handling mark. Dust wrapper is very smart, with light shelf wear and light sunning to the spine. Wrap is very lightly soiled in places, with a touch of age toning to the reverse. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Near Fine
