Lower portion of the engraved title page has been cut off at some point in the past. Small repaired burn hole to pages [xiii]/[xiv]. Some plates are stained to the edges. Light browning to pages throughout. Binding has definitely seen better days - front board detached, leather very worn with sections missing. Spine label missing. Spine split and cracked and with head and foot missing. No front free end papers..
