Sobre este artículo
Georgetown, Kentucky: Finishing Line Press, 2007. First Edition.
SIGNED by Lesley Wheeler on the title page, where she has drawn a line through her printed name and signed in ink above it. Wheeler's first poetry collection; all of the poems relate to World War II-era Liverpool. "A version of my mother, Patricia (Cain) Wheeler, is a protagonist here," she writes, adding that others have shared stories about Liverpool as well. Her book presents a "filtered, idiosyncratic perspective," she says.
Wheeler is the Henry S. Fox Professor of English at Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia (B.A. from Rutgers, Ph.D. from Princeton). Scarce in commerce.
PHYSICAL DETAILS: Octavo (8 1/2 x 5 3/8 inches; 215 x 135 mm), pp. 25, [5] pages, in stapled, photo-illustrated wrappers (soft cover).
CONDITION: Light soiling to wrappers, light underlining in a couple of places but otherwise clean and unmarked. Very Good or better.
