Cloth and decoration bright. Extra set of gilt decorated endpapers is inserted after front endappers (publisher's error). Signed by Holmes and dated April 23, 1880 on recto of frontispiece. B/w illustrations. Overopened at title page, else clean and tight. BAL 8931.
