Black cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine and title and device to front board. 223 p.p. B&W photos. Some sunning to top and tail edges, a few spots of soiling. Spine tilted. Rust stain to front endpapers. Pictorial dust jacket has some bumping to extremities, chips to spine head, some light soiling and creasing. The story of education in Kingston from the "Mother School" of the French Regime to the outstanding schools of this period of time.
