Sobre este artículo
Edinburgh and London: William Blackwood and Sons, 1894. Scarce FIRST EDITION of this classic work on Deer Hounds, original green publishers cloth with gilt design of a dog on front cover, gilt titles on spine, bevelled edges and black endpapers. Some general shelf and edgewear, bumped corners, a scratch on back cover. Former owner's name on FFEP, front hinge starting with a bit of mesh exposed. Rear hinge solid. 336 pages. All three gorgeous plates are present, but the illustration of the author that should be facing the title page has gone missing. Despite these flaws, a handsome copy of this VERY hard to find original . First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good.
