Wilson, 18 coloured plates, (16 from drawings by Dr. Wilson) 260 full page and smaller lillustrations from photographs taken by Herbert G. Ponting and other members of the expedition, panoramas and maps. Scuff marks, blemishes to the front board to volume I. One side of the spine cover loose. 8 maps, most fold out, map between page 198-199 has a large tear. 2 fold outs photos. Between page 414 and 415 tissue notes by scott. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall
