Fair++/No dust jacket; sturdy full drk. brown leather of tooled intricate design & beveled edging, gilt scrolled "Scott" signature at top center, gilt star pattern of 7, at bottom center, inlaid olive green pebbled strip in center of beveled frame, raised banded spinestrip with gilt title and tooled flower patterns on each box, all leave edges polished gilt, choc. brn.ribboned bookmark chocolate brown endpapers, two blank leaves have moderate foxing, cracked hinges, light smudingl but text basically clean & clear, is tissue guarded frontis portrait of Scott w/fascimilie signature, extra engraved title page, 10 WONDERFULLY illustrated full page engravings by Keely Halswelle, Notes-(Murray and Gibb, Printers, Edinburgh) 665pp. Scarce & Collectible. .
