[Title leaf], *3-[*6], I-495pp; Has the engraved title, but lacks folding table and at least 1 leaf appearing before 1st dedication page, which is signed *3 . Old leather front and back, laid down on matching new leather. Engraved title page worn with marginal chipping and ink notation to upper corner of verso. Text very good. First edition of this important collection of minor works, pamphlets and Latin fragments found in the papers of Bacon and published here for the first time in the care of Isaac Gruter.
