The 254 pages remain in fresh, clean condition with no inscriptions and are tightly bound. Double matching light blue endpapers to front and rear of book. Pages are antique cut to the front edge as published. Cloth binding is in very presentable condition with sharp corners and even colour tone. Book sits solid and square. Title lettering to spine is sharp and legible. Housed in the eyecatching dustwrapper with publishers printed price intact on front inside flap. Light creasing to top and heel of spine otherwise the dustwrapper is in pleasing condition. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. Photographs of the book and the dustwrapper are available on request. This is an excellent collection of short writings and hilarious anecdotes from Algrens experiences at sea and his meeting with and support of Ernest Hemingway. A pleasing copy throughout.. First Edition. Near Fine/Very Good.
