Green buckram, top edge gilt, with gilt spine titles. Spine slightly tanned, light tanning to the front endpapers from offsetting of binding, a few light damp spots to the covers, and slightly cocked, nice copy otherwise without the dust jacket. Contains a new author foreword for this edition plus 16 excellent woodcuts by Clare Leighton. The author's first book. first published in 1912, a classic of South American and particularly Amazonian Travel.
