Silas Kitto Hocking (24 March 1850 15 September 1935) was a Cornish novelist and Methodist preacher. In a decorative cloth binding with gilt detailing. Externally, generally smart, though with some light bumping and a few marks. Internally, generally firmly bound although strained in places. Hinges are strained, with front endpaper missing. Pages are bright, though with some scattered instances of foxing. Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
