Octavo. 5.25 x 7.75 in. 119 pp. Near fine in original decorated red cloth, illustrated Borzoi endpapers, light foxing to fore- and bottom edge, with slight bump at foot of spine. D. Recipient Darley Hiden Ramsey was an editor, newspaper manager, historian and served on countless community boards; the UNCA-Asheville D. Hiden Ramsey library was named after the local historian who delivered ten lectures on Western North Carolina history there. Bjorkman (b. Stockholm, 1866, died Asheville, NC, 1951) was a journalist, literary critic, and translator. Bjorkman (also) served variously as director for the Scandinavian Bureau of the American Committee on public information, literary editor for the Asheville Times, director of the North Carolina Federal Writers Project for the WPA, etc. etc. Excellent copy linking these two energetic, prominent and active Asheville community members.

Sobre Cleveland Book Company
We are proud members of the ABAA.
As a small, independent bookseller in Cleveland, Ohio, I deal in general used, rare, and antiquarian books, autographs, manuscripts, pamphlets, and personal and family papers in all subjects. My family has been in the antiquarian book business since 1971. Are you moving, downsizing, or doing some spring cleaning? Did you inherit or otherwise come into some old books? Or, maybe you've collected modern novels from the last thirty or fifty years. No matter what kinds of books you have, we'd love to take a look at them! We travel throughout Ohio, western Pennsylvania and New York, southern Michigan, and eastern Indiana, and will travel farther in some cases to look at whole libraries or even just a few particularly interesting books. Give us a call at (216) 352-3940 and we can talk more about the kinds of books you have.
