Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper and pre title page. Gutters cracked with exposed netting. A few dog-eared corners. Text block edges intensely tanned. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Rear joint completely split. A few liquid droplet marks. Boards a little rubbed and marked overall. Book has a moderate forward lean. Gilt is bright.
