This is his best known work.Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the University of Bristol Libraries.With a foreword by Sir Francis Younghusband. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Evidence of a label being formerly adhered to the tail of the front board, with fading and a small amount of paper remnants. Spine is a little discoloured. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Small tear to the tail of the rear joint. A few minor marks to the boards, and light rubbing to the spine and extremities. Front hinge is starting but firm, rear hinge is a little strained. Stamp to the recto of the front endpaper. Stamp and torn label to the rear paste down. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with a few scattered spots. Bound without one plate. Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
