Green publisher’s cloth, gilt illust. on front cover, gilt lettering (minor bumping to couple corners), w/ d.j. Art Deco cover art (minor sunning to spine, minor chipping & tears to fore-edges, minor closed tears to spine, price-clipped), still VG/G- copy, w/ former ownership markings on ffep. First American edition of this charming and beguiling travel memoir through Wales by automobile, foot, and rail exploring “the picturesque little country. . . its people and is enchanted by its many legends.” American printings featured different cover art from the Methuen British edition, and original dustjackets are uncommon.
