New York: Random House, 1946. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair. First edition. Jacket art by Charles Addams. Small stains on a few pages (affecting text), sunning on boards and spine, small chip at the crown, about very good in a fair dust jacket with a couple small tears, the bottom half of the toned spine missing, and the front panel detached (but present). Burgess Meredith staged the original production of this comedy by the long-time New Yorker drama critic who adapted his own 1946 novel of the same name.
