Large format hardcover with dustjacket, book is in excellent condition, mild sunning to the cloth at the top and bottom edge is the only remarkable flaw, the jacket is price-clipped and the background color on the spine is sightly faded, the jacket is clean and attractive and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, "plithy comment, humorous anecdotes, strange and wonderful bits of Americana, forthright Sloane opinions, and delightful reminiscences," illustrated by the author .
