London: Cassell, 1948. Hardcover . Used - near fine/Near very good. 8vo; 640, 684, 818, 917pp. Vol 1 with very light scuffing to black cloth boards, others 'Fine'. Reddish top stained edges of each vol with some fade, a bit uneven. All 4 vols in unclipped djs. Vol 1 with a 1/2' round sticker shadow at top foredge corner of front panel (no loss), the front and rear panels of other vols are fresh (as is vol 1) and considered Near Fine. The dj spines of all vols suffer a bit more, with spine tips chipped and red lettering faded as is often the case, but still legible. DJs now protected in removable mylar covers.
