The Secret Life of Queen Victoria: Her Majesty's Missing Diaries: Being an account of her hitherto unknown travels through the island of Jamaica in the year 1871 edited and loyally illustrated by Jonathan Routh Folio size hardcover with dust jacket; 110 pages with color illustrations and a few black and white and sepia illustrations. Most of the illustrations are two-page spreads. From jacket: "From the pages of her truly amazing Diary we learn how she attempts the tight-rope ... she indulges in a primitive form of water-skiing, then goes up (can involuntarily down) in a balloon. We discover her with the drunken Bishop Kelso...We find her staying with the eccentric, often naked sugar-planter Count Diacre... We follow her to Haiti ...and learn how she gets involved in an incredible bar-brawl. And all the time nobody knows she is the queen of England." There is some wear and light soil to jacket and the purple topstain is quite faded. Penciled price on half title page. Bumped top corners and there is a bump to the inside center on about 20 pages.
