Orig. published in 1944, this is a slightly (c. mid-1950s) printing of that First Edition, listing to DG#21 & ND#37 in front matter & to DG#21 on front flap, JB#31 on rear flap, ND#36 on back DJ. With the blue tweed cover design, this hardcover book has 25 chapters, 215 pages, flashlight endpapers, & plain frontispiece. Condition is Good+: generally very clean, binding strong & square but rear hinge is cracked. Pages slightly off-white, modest tanning. Rubbing to extremities & mildly bumped corners. The unclipped DJ is VG-, with light-moderate rubbing, heaviest at both ends of spine, some short tears & creases, chipping to corners. NO fading. Looks nice protected in new mylar cover FREE!
