Hardcover with dustjacket, first printing as stated on copyright page, novel about a British agent in Hungary, the black glossy cover shows rather faint overall mottling and the white spine-title is pretty much rubbed away with the exception of the author's first name, an ownership inscription is present on the inside of the front cover, the binding is tight and the contents are fine, the jacket has moderate to heavy edge-wear at the corners and spine-ends, some surface-rubbing and mild edge-tanning, a small ink scribble is present on the front flap, the color illustration n the front panel is in reasonably good condition, the original price (3.95) is present and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, a flawed but hard-to-find first printing .
