NY: Knopf, 1946. First Edition . Hardcover. First US edition, near fine in a very good dust jacket. Beige cloth with dark blue lettering and slightly faded topstain. Cloth is slightly darkened at rear gutter. The price clipped dust jacket has a tiny chip at the toe of the spine, and a 1" closed tear at the top of the front flap fold. The book is fresh and clean with no names or other markings. The jacket colors are also bright, although the spine is slightly sunned.
