Sobre este artículo
London: Macmillan and Co. Limited, 1901. Full Leather. Very Good. Octavo. Pp. xii, 434. Bound in contemporary full maroon calf, with a large central gilt crest of Rugby School with the motto "Orando Laborando" (by prayer and work), bordered by double gilt fillets framing a wavy blind roll and blind-stamped corner pieces, gilt-rolled edges. Spine elaborately gilt in compartments between raised bands, morocco lettering piece, gilt, marbled endpapers and edges. Rugby presentation bookplate on pastedown, but overall a fine, well-preserved copy, with the spine gilt still bright and crisp. With a bibliographical introduction by Alfred W. Pollard, the present collection contains, besides "The Vicar of Wakefield", five plays, including "She Stoops to Conquer", and all of Goldsmith's miscellaneous poems.
