Lyrical and Critical, and from his private notebooks aims to present Camus as a writer and literary critic, as well as Camus the individual. Edited and translated by Philip Thody. Minor creasing of the book corners with rubbing of the book edges and panels. Reading crease to the back strip along with faint sunning. Age toning of the text block edges and even light age toning of the pages. A few stains to the lower edge of the front text edge with a few foxing spots to the verso of the front panel and half title page. This is the first Penguin edition.
