The slipcase has a tiny dent on the head edge and small, faint abrasions on one side.; This volume includes 49 poems that are representative of this brilliant, self-destructive Welsh poet. Editors Walford Davies and Ralph Maud selected these from Thomas's most significant books: 18 Poems, Twenty-Five Poems, The Map of Love, Deaths and Entrances, and In Country Sleep. The frontis and 6 plates reproduce photos of Thomas, his family, and the countryside of Wales. Contains the editors' Notes and an Index of Titles and First Lines. Typeset in Garamond by The Folio Society. Printed on fine paper and bound by Legatoria Editoriale Giovanni Olivotto (L.E.G.O.), Vicenza, Italy. Printed endpapers reproduce Dylan's manuscript notes for Prologue. In boards with black cloth across the rear board and wrapping around the spine to present 1/4 cloth on the front. The front is printed on Modigliani paper and features the iconic 1937 monochrome photo of Thomas lighting a cigarette. Housed in a dark gray slipcase.
