Bennett was a British army officer and naturalist. He was posted to Ceylon from 1815 to 1827. Contains 30 vibrant color plates. Bears a bookplate of a previous owner on the front endpaper. Spine and edges of boards are rubbed. Lower joint is separated. See images.
