Sobre este artículo

This is an antique copy of "Selections from the Poetical Works of ROBERT BROWNING" - From the Sixth London Edition (1st and 2nd Series). 1886; Thomas Y. Crowell & Co.; New York. The book features a frontispiece engraved portrait of Browning and a facsimile signature (with a tissue guard). Nicely bound with a decorative front cover and spine, and gilt page edges on all sides of the text block. Please see the photos for the complete list of contents.

Condition:
Clean covers and spine. Sharp cover corners. Bright gilt on the front cover; the gilt on the spine has partially faded. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached. Bright gilt page edges on all sides of the text block. Nice interior - the text pages are clean and nearly appear unread with only light age-toning. Name/date (1893) written in pen on the front end paper. The top-left corner of the front pastedown has what appears to be a partial address label that had been removed, leaving behind adhesive residue that has turned brown (see photo). Overall the book is in Very Good condition.
