Sobre este artículo
London: Methuen & Co., (1954). First edition, first printing. This is a near fine copy. The Michael Ayrton dust wrapper is beautiful. There is some light toning and bumping present at the top and tail edges and at the rear panel. It has been neatly price clipped. The boards are fine with the brown embossed title sections clean. The top text block is toned, but the bottom and side are clean. This copy is free from previous owner's ink and is, overall, in near fine condition.
The remarkable story of Rene Harding, who, after becoming unhappy with the civilisation of England, leaves the country and travels looking for a new intellectually nurturing home.
