Publisher's black leather, spine lettered in silver; all text block edges trimmed; red endpapers; housed in marbled paper-covered slipcase. Faintest hint of pale soiling at front board, else fine. With photograph of Macdonald and Welty, who wrote the introduction, tucked into a pocket at front pastedown.
