Very Good/Fair. undated but almost certainly published in 1936. the inscription is dated 1936.the jacket is shelf rubbed and the flap edges have been reinforced with strips of brown paper. the book has a lengthy inscription and ownership details from a previous owner on the front end page. there is also bookseller stamp marks on the half title page and a stamp mark from a previous owner. there is also an original coronation stamp pasted on the half title page. the rear end page also has a previous owner's stamp mark. there is an ink inscription on page 19 and some underlining. the comments are critical of the king's decision to abdicate. the binding is excellent..
