Sobre este artículo

Souvenir Press, London, 1983. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Very Good. Black coloured boards with silver coloured titles to the back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper with white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Black and white photograph of the author to the rear fold over panel. Sandy Block, a New York detective, is given the task to track down a serial killer of pregnant women. The manner in which they die is horrendous and the clues of few and far between. He then finds out that the killer is possessed by glossolalia – the ability to speak in tongues – so he starts seeking out the evangelical underworld and the world goes down the proverbial rabbit hole. Peter Ketter decides to go home to his small childhood home of Cascade to get away from his job of hunting down terrorists, guerrilla fighters and dangerous fanatics which he believes he is starting to enjoy a little too much – but, the memories of a friendly smalltown have been replaced by town beset by corruption – and haunting of a serial killer. Peter Ketter's old life has followed him. Rubbing of the book corners and back strip edges. There is quite a significant cock of the spine. Age toning of the text block edges and previous owners name to the top right hand corner of the free front end page. Minor rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels with sunning to the back strip. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 274, [6] pages.. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo.
