Norman Colin Dexter, OBE, (born 29 September 1930) is an English crime writer known for his Inspector Morse novels, which were written between 1975 and 1999 and adapted as a television series from 1987 to 2000. 'Service of All the Dead' is the fourth novel in the Inspector Morse series. In a blue cloth binding in an unclipped dustwrapper in an acetate protective covering. Externally, smart with just minor shelfwear. Dustwrapper is smart with just minor edgewear. There are some minor chips and closed tears to the extremities. There is also part of a label to the rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. There is an ink marking to the recto of front free end papers. Very Good Indeed
