A review copy, with the publisher's review slip laid-in (although there is no indication in the book, this copy is from the library of the late crime writer and editor Anthony Lejeune who for fifty years supplied reviews of crime novels to the Catholic weekly newspaper 'The Tablet'). 8vo. 256pp. Blue boards lettered and ruled in silver at the spine. The edges very lightly spotted, else a fine copy in non-price-clipped dust wrapper with some quite noticeable discolouration to the publisher's red spine panel colouring.
