Sobre este artículo
Cheyenne, WY: E. A. Slack, Printer and Binder, Daily Sun Office, 1890. 1st Edition. Soft cover. Good. Session law book of final Wyoming territorial legislative congress which convened in January of the year it became a state. Ownership stamp of John Forrest Dillon to rear cover and last page. Dillon was an influential Iowa Supreme Court Justice and US Circuit Judge known for his rule that established a state's legislature as dominant over a municipal government. He was appointed to the 8th circuit courts by Grant in 1879 and in 1890, Wyoming joined that circuit. At least one passage is marked and underlined relating the purchase and sale of railroads and by majority capital stock holders. Good condition with backstrip worn away. Signatures are still firmly bound with string, though not held together as a whole. There is some chipping to font and rear covers, otherwise complete. Stopka, Wyoming Territorial Imprints, 1890.8. A scarce imprint with historically important ownership.
