Signed and inscribed by the author on the front endpaper: 'For Morty, with best regards. Van.' The inscription is to Morton White, the philosopher and historian, who was a colleague of Quine's at Harvard. NEAR FINE in Near Fine dust jacket protected in a removable archival cover. The book itself shows a hint of shelf rubbing at the bottom edge, else Fine/As New. The dust jacket shows just a hint of tanning, else Fine/As New. As pictured.
