A story of relationships and love set in a Swedish community on the Canadian prairies. Minor browning to pages, sma ll soft crease at top corner of first 14 pages, one page with dog-ear crease, small light stain at fore-edge of pages 17-25, a few pages with a tiny foxing mark, browning to edges of textblock, very light edge wear, wear at corners, light w r i n k l i n g at top/bottom of spine, minor soiling on boards. Good.

Sinopsis

Frederick Philip Grove , born in West Prussia, began his career as a poet and translator into German. After emigrating from Germany to the United States, he moved again to Manitoba, where he worked as a teacher and wrote Settlers of the Marsh , his first novel in English. From the eBook edition.
