Issued in conjunction with a 1991 exhibition of artwork rendered by French post-impressionist Georges Seurat (1859-1891). With essays and chronology. The annotated and illustrated catalogue addresses 228 pieces. An amazing, substantial and hefty tome. Brings back memories of the general psych course back in college, when the textbook cover art was Seurat's "Un dimanche a la Grande Jatte" (A Sunday Afternoon on the Isle of Le Grande Jatte). I guess post-impressionism and the inner workings of the brain go together.
