The Macmillan Company, 1907. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1907. No Edition Remarks. 263 pages. No dust jacket. Blue paper covered boards with brown spine strip. Contains black and white photographic plates. Gilt applied to top edge of text block, remaining sides are rough cut. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and text-block edges. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Frontispiece detached but present. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout however binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Spine panel is missing. Frayed edges of remaining spine strip.
