Shachiapang: An Outstanding Example Of Theatrical Art On Revolutionary, Contemporary Themes [set Of Three Records] -

Peking: China Record Company, 1967. Audio LP. Set of three 33 1/3 record albums, presenting the Cultural Revolution production as performed by the 'Central Philharmonic Society. The pictorial sleeves are lightly worn, with a scar at the bottom of the front and back cleeves where they were once taped togeteher; the records appear flawless. The English text on the sleeves marks these as made for export; the performances are still in Chinese however. This production was one of Jiang Qing's model operas, which depicted resistance to the Japanese invasion in a region of Jiangsu province.
