The text is illustrated with maps and black and white photographs. Illustrated cover, showing a map of Tasmania against a pale yellow coloured background black and red coloured titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the backstrip. The history of the convict era in Tasmania. Rubbing and creasing to the book corners and rubbing to the other book edges. There are a few reading creases to the backstrip region. The book panels are slightly scuffed, show a few foxing marks and handling marks. Internal pages are very slightly brown. 17th Edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. IV, 150 pages,.
