Near Fine, in a VG DJ. Just a hint of shelf/edge wear to red cloth boards with gilt spine titles - corners sharp. Boldly signed by the Author to the previous owner on the FFEP. Moderate shelf/edge wear and a few small closed tears to original unclipped DJ - now in mylar. Only flaw is the DJ is too short for the book by 1/8 of an inch at top and bottom. All pages are clean and unmarked. History based love story between a Gentile and and a Jewish woman set in Czechoslovakia during World War Two and their efforts to first the Nazi's and then the Communists. A very handsome vintage Signed First Edition in the original DJ. LOC SSE-07
