This copy was clearly exposed to some moisture, and there are some minor signs of this on the front cover and some of the pages. There is no tidemark or stain on the text leaves, which are just slightly cockled; the green cloth has been slightly yellowed at the lower right quadrant of the front cover. The jacket has some minor chipping at the edges and the extremities of the spine.. 8vo,. Signed by Willa Cather on the front free endpaper.
Sinopsis
This tale was published in 1931. Willa Cather's Shadows on the Rock tells the tale of a young girl, her widower father, and their friends, all of them working to make a life for themselves in Quebec in 1697.
