Sobre este artículo

New York: Mitchell Kennerley, 1909. [1909] FIRST EDITION hardcover. [Not a recent reprint or facsimile -- this is the first edition published in 1909.] Olive green binding, gilt lettering, gilt to top edge; deckled fore-edge and bottom edge (usually associated with better books). Condition: Binding is age darken (with faint soiling), especially spine. Light shelf wear, fraying/chips to top and foot of spine. Two corners showing a tad; bump to top extremity of rear cover. Endpapers: Faint erased pencil notes by bookseller on first free endpaper. Some rubbing to gilt on top edge. Gilt lettering on top cover and spine in fine condition - not rubbed or chipped. Internally, lightly age toned, several creases to leaves, some chips and short tears to page borders. Stored in temperature-controlled environment. Overall, Very Good. Here is an uncommon book that reflects passages from Shakespeare and the author's comments or interpretations. The author, Frank Harris, notes how Shakespeare changed over the years, from younger years to maturity and how his writing reflect the changes. Harris recreates Shakespeare - the most complex and passionate personality in the world, whether of life or letters. A wonderful book and a first edition. Note: We are a well-established, well-respected, ethical book dealer in business since 1991. We describe the condition of our books thoroughly and honestly, so you'll know exactly what you will receiving when you order. We ship promptly. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good.

Sobre R. Siedlecki Vintage Books

We are a well-established, well-respected dealer that is professional, honest, and ethical in our business dealings. We tend to describe each book in a reserved, conservative manner, rather than oversell a book or sidestep the responsibility of addressing its flaws. Book club editions and library books along with books without dustjackets (if they came with dustjackets) are pointed out in our descriptions. We describe our books in detail, pointing out the precise condition of each book based on our opinion. It's your assurance that the book we describe is as close as possible to the book you’ll receive. In business since 1991, we typically have five-star ratings on major web sites.
