New York: Dutton, 1948. Limited Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. One of 1440 [of 1500] numbered copies [#440]. Bound in brown cloth with black and silver decoration to spine. Usual browning to pages, moreso to outer edges, light dampstain to fore and to head edges. Signatures have started, however, the binding is sound. Previous owner's stamp to the front endpage. Dustjacket shows some wear to outer corners, chipping to head and heel of spine panel. Spine panel browned. Some rubbing to spine panel edges and to flap foldovers. Modest dustsoil over all.
